Anonymous view counts
The site keeps simple daily totals of how often homepage stories are opened and how often links to the free estimate review are tapped. These counts do not use cookies and do not store IP addresses, device identifiers or anything you type. Only Chairman Estimating can see them.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits, general traffic sources, calls or contractor contact link clicks, sample views, and confirmed form submissions. A phone click does not tell us whether a call connected, and an inquiry does not mean a job was booked. We do not send the names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses or messages entered in the inquiry form to Google Analytics.
Analytics is off until you select Allow analytics. If enabled, Google Analytics can use cookies and process technical information about your browser and device. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Choose Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice. Declining analytics does not affect the inquiry form. Your preference is stored in this browser.
What I collect
When you submit the form on this site I collect your name, company, phone number, email address, property address, project type, deadline, and whatever you write in the project description.
The hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and secure this website. The public website does not require an account.
Why I collect it
To scope and price your job, and to reach you about it. The property address is how I plan a site visit. The phone number is how I reach you fastest when something in the file needs an answer the same day.
Text messages
If you contact me by text or consent to project communications through the form, I may text you about that project. Messages may concern scheduling, documentation and scope questions. This is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Message frequency varies by job. Message and data rates may apply through your carrier. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything.
Service providers and linked websites
Netlify hosts this website. Formspree processes form submissions and delivers them by email. Quo, formerly OpenPhone, provides phone and text services. These providers process information to deliver their services. Links to Matterport, Google, Yelp, Facebook and contractor websites open services governed by their own privacy policies. The site font is hosted locally; loading it does not make a separate request to Google Fonts.
I do not sell your information. I do not trade it. If your job requires me to coordinate with your adjuster, carrier, or contractor, I share only what that specific coordination requires, and only in service of the work you hired me for.
How long I keep it
I retain inquiry and project records as needed to provide estimating services, maintain business records and meet applicable obligations. Contact me to request access, correction or deletion; I will explain any records that must be retained.
