BEAUMONT & PORT ARTHUR · ON-SITE ESTIMATING

Xactimate Estimates for Beaumont & Port Arthur

Beaumont and Port Arthur are outside my Houston route, but I still write estimates there. I’m Benny Mancillas, an independent Xactimate estimator. For the Golden Triangle there are two options: an on-site walkthrough with a travel fee, or remote Xactimate estimating from your photos, video, plans or a Matterport scan.

Damage I write estimates for in Beaumont & Port Arthur

Southeast Texas has been hit again and again: Rita in 2005, Ike in 2008, Harvey’s record rain in 2017 that flooded Beaumont and Port Arthur, and Imelda in 2019. Laura and Delta in 2020 brought wind from the east. Homes range from older pier-and-beam houses in Beaumont’s Oaks and Port Arthur neighborhoods to brick ranches in Nederland, Port Neches and Groves. Flood-cut interiors, roofs, siding and freeze-damaged plumbing are all common scopes.

What you get

An on-site walkthrough, measurements of each affected room, labeled photos, a Matterport 3D scan and an Xactimate estimate that lists the repair work line by line. The estimate is yours to share with your insurance company, your contractor or anyone helping with the repairs.

An independent estimator, not a public adjuster

I write repair estimates. I am not a public adjuster or insurance adjuster, I don’t negotiate with your insurance company, and I can’t promise what a claim will pay. My job is a clear, well-documented estimate of the repairs your home needs.

Where I work around Beaumont & Port Arthur

Beaumont is about 85 miles from my base. On-site visits are booked in advance and carry a travel fee, explained on the pricing page and confirmed before anything is scheduled. Contractors and restoration companies who already have good photos and measurements can use remote estimating instead. I’m based in the Webster and Clear Lake area. Nearby: Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland, Port Neches, Groves, Vidor. See the full service area. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Central. Spanish is available. Visits take place at your property.

Questions from Beaumont & Port Arthur homeowners

Do you come out to Beaumont in person?

Yes, by appointment. A travel fee applies, and I’ll confirm it before booking.

What do you need for a remote estimate?

Room photos, measurements or a Matterport scan, the cause of loss and any existing estimate. See remote Xactimate estimating for details.

Will a remote estimate be as detailed?

It’s written the same way, line by line in Xactimate, but it can only reflect what the photos, plans or scans show. I note anything I couldn’t verify.

Are you a public adjuster?

No. I’m an independent estimator. I write the repair estimate; I don’t represent you with the insurance company, negotiate your claim, decide coverage or promise what a claim will pay.

How much does an estimate cost?

Fees are explained on one page. See how pricing works.
