Mobile and Manufactured Home Damage Estimates in Houston
Manufactured homes are built differently, so their repair estimates should be too. I’m Benny Mancillas, an independent Xactimate estimator. I walk the home, document the damage, and write a repair estimate that reflects how the home is actually built.

What’s different about a manufactured home
Interior walls are often vinyl-covered gypsum panels with battens instead of taped and textured drywall, and matching them is a real issue. Roofs may be metal or low-slope shingle over light framing. Floors are often particleboard decking that swells when wet. Skirting, tie-downs, piers, vapor barrier and underbelly insulation all show up in storm and water losses.
Common Houston-area losses
Wind from hurricanes and thunderstorms, trees and limbs, plumbing leaks under the home, and flooding in rural parts of Brazoria, Liberty, Chambers, Montgomery and east Harris counties.
My role
I’m an independent estimator, not a public adjuster or insurance adjuster. I don’t negotiate with insurance companies, interpret coverage or promise what a claim will pay. I document the damage and write the repair scope.
Where I work
Houston and the surrounding metro. See the full service area. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Central. Spanish is available. Visits take place at the property. Fees are on one page: see pricing.
Common questions
Do you go under the home?
I document what I can safely access, including the underbelly when there’s an opening, and note anything I couldn’t see.
Do you estimate re-leveling?
I can note when the home appears out of level. Setup and leveling specifics come from a licensed installer.
Are you a public adjuster?
No. I’m an independent estimator. I write the repair estimate; I don’t represent you with the insurance company, negotiate the claim or promise a result.
How much does an estimate cost?
Fees are explained on one page. See how pricing works.
